AFTER almost eight years of negotiation with various government bodies and the Lorne Golf Course, the development of a major multi-million golf resort is set to begin. The Lorne Country Club redevelopment – now to be known as Osprey – should start construction this year and be completed by early 2013. The ambitious redevelopment will see the existing nine-hole golf course expanded to an 18 hole course, designed by Thomson Perrett. The course will include a 1760 square meter clubroom.
